Music has long been a key brand pillar for Lincoln, who has a history of showing up in a big way on music’s biggest night. The charge here was to showcase the Navigator’s luxurious interior. As Serena seeks shelter from a storm, we introduce the music of Sarah Vaughn (9-time Grammy nominee, lifetime achievement award winner and Grammy’s Hall of Fame inductee) to deliver the soundtrack as well the narrative. Serena does the rest.

Air travel was supposed to be fast, effortless and freeing, right? But recently, delays, security, cramped seating and lost baggage are just a few of the pain points which have dominated headlines, making people question the efficiency of flying—especially on shorter regional routes. Tapping into this cultural undercurrent, Lincoln wondered if, in these cases, it was actually worth driving…or choosing “Wheels Over Wings.” In fact, while the Navigator’s creature comforts would surely exceed those on a regional flight, Lincoln is also gambling (pun intended) that by driving, you’d actually arrive at your destination quicker. So, Jeff Garlin & Susie Essman went all-in, in somewhat reversed roles, as they raced to Vegas in a friendly wager which feels more like a forgotten “Curb” episode than a branded film.

How do you revive an automotive flagship that was once held in awe and with respect, but disappeared years ago with a whimper? When it’s the Lincoln Continental, you take it to an inspiring location – in this case, Iceland – and interrogate it with a camera, because it’s the product itself that is going to most change opinions about the brand.
It doesn’t hurt that we have Matthew McConaughey as the spokesman. But we chose to lean into his quirk, in an effort to convey that the new Continental wasn’t just a revival, but something very contemporary and worthy of a car buyer’s consideration.

Jack Daniel’s needed a reason for people to start their night with a JD-&-Something.
Enter good ol' fashion western 'Bar Sliding' and an Official Jack Daniels Bar Sliding Glass.
The custom-built, timber saloon contained hidden cameras, perfectly positioned to capture each slide via digital ‘shadow distance’. Score, rank, image and a video of each ‘slide’ was then instantly beamed onto the venues TV screen. A microsite simultaneously captured the same data for sharing.

Tasked with the monumental launch of Lincoln's flagship vehicle, not to mention the first Continental in decades, we endeavored to stand out from our competitions cold 'machine driven' campaigns and remind consumers of Lincoln's warm, human approach to luxury.
Who better to convey our unique sentiment than Annie Leibovitz, perhaps the worlds most iconic portrait photographer, creating her first ever photographs for an automotive company.
The images feature musician Jon Batiste, artist Tali Lennox, actor Giles Matthey and director Ben Younger. Together, they convey a story which embodies the notion of a 'Continental' approach to life. A group of up-and-coming creative professionals on a road trip odyssey throughout the USA.

Teens are easily distracted drivers. They talk, they text, they do unmentionable things they know they shouldn't. Which is unfortunate, because motor vehicle crashes are the leading cause of death for U.S. teens.
To show parent's and teens what distractions can lead to, we created the world's first Oculus Rift driving simulator that puts drivers behind the virtual wheel and educates them about safe driving.

Making a Toyota is a little like making music. People, parts and process work together in perfect harmony to create something beautiful.
That was the idea behind Gifony – a web experience where people could remix the sights and sounds of the Toyota production process. We worked with audio engineers to capture the sound of each step from manufacturing plants in Mississippi and Kentucky, then paired them with 45 different fascinating GIFs.
Thanks to Corona, I got a chance to chase the sun around the world touring with the Corona Sunsets Music Festival, creating video and photographic content.
Besides having a home on a specially designed microsite, the content I produced was distributed globally via Corona's massive social network.
Parents Who Drive Bad Anonymous was part of Toyota's TeenDrive365 initiative for safer teen driving. They say teens learn to drive by watching their parents, so we created a fictional support group for guilty conscience moms and dads to confront their bad driving habits.
Tweets from individual members of the group drove to TeenDrive365.com, the hub that housed PWDBA content and other safe teen driving initiatives.

Toyota recognises these challenges, and has set out to help solve them as part of the company’s mission of ‘mobility for all’.
BLAID is a wearable device with mapping, object identification, and facial recognition technology designed to helps to fill in the blanks left by canes and seeing eye dogs.
Here are some logo design and identity jobs which have kept me busy on the weekends.
